Television should be monitored, and changed in ways that would limit the amount of time- wasting shows, replacing them with more educational, informative shows. The FCC should regulate the programs on TV at times, specifically at times when most people are watching. This would help a broader group of the population become more interested and involved in our country or the world.

I think your solution may be difficult to fix the problem with our televisons. All People do not like that same shows and everyone likes their own things. A show that you may feel is a waste of time, may be very intertaining to others. I think fcc should regulate the amount of commericals that come on during a program instead of trying to elimeate shows that are a waste of time in someones opinion.

ReplyDeleteThis might be a tough topic because so many Americans love reality television. There are usually educational shows on TV though, such as History and Discovery channels...so it's there if the person is looking for it.
ReplyDeleteIt sounds like your "issue/problem" is in your last sentence. Your first two sound more like solutions than issues. If you reword your last sentence and put it as the first sentence, and then add your other two solution sentences together, you should have a good thesis statement and solution. This sounds like a tough issue in America. I agree that we need more informational/educational programs out there and less "junk" shows.
